Homemade baked goods high-lighting an essential element to its taste –The Sweet Potato.

Dominick Ard’is engaged me to design a simple identity for a sweet potato dough brand that utilizes his mother’s recipe.

  • Create a unique identity that communicates the company’s essence.

  • Find a creative way to combine the “S” from the word sweet and the “P” from the name Sweet-P.

THE SLIP

Sweet potatoes aren't started by a seed like most vegetables, they're started from slips. Slips are shoots that are grown from a mature sweet potato.

I decided to incorporate the slip into the brand’s identity. The plan is to use the slip as decorative element throughout the brand touch-points.
